Ground Application for Public Health
Ground spray equipment can be used for the control of a wide range of insects and their larvae.
Typical applications are:
· Adulticides for control of mosquitoes and house flies using a space (drift) spraying technique. Optimum droplet size range: 15 – 30µm.
· Adulticides for directional treatment of house flies (e.g. on refuse tips) and of mosquito resting areas. Optimum droplet size range: 30 – 80µm.
· Mosquito larvicides applied to water. Optimum droplet size range: 100 – 250µm.
Micron manufacture both knapsack (AU8000EH) and vehicle mounted (AU8115EH) sprayers that are suitable for these applications.
