Sales and Shipping Assistant
Micron Sprayers Ltd, a Bromyard based company manufacturing specialist crop spraying equipment with a worldwide customer base, have the following vacancy:
Job title: Export Sales and Shipping Assistant responsible to the Sales Director and the Sales Office Manager
Department: Sales and Marketing
Main aim of the position: to ensure efficient sales and delivery of products to overseas customers in Europe, the UK and the Rest of the World
Responsibilities:
- preparing sales quotations
- processing and invoicing sales orders (familiarity with SAGE and the MICROSOFT OFFICE suite an advantage)
- ensuring cost effective shipping of products worldwide (including obtaining quotations and liaising with freight forwarders/ courier companies/ inspection agencies/Chambers of Commerce)
- preparing export documentation for sales orders including cargo tracking notes, certificates of origin etc
- arranging despatch of products, including pre-shipment inspection if required
- occasional processing of Letters of Credit, Cash Against Documents and dealing with international banks
- sales and shipping correspondence
- general sales correspondence and communicating with customers by telephone and e-mail
- dealing with telephone enquiries
- some reception/general office duties
Salary TBA
Priority will be given to candidates with previous export shipping experience.
